Performance sismiche degli elementi non-strutturali: considerazioni sulla domanda sismica e sui dati sperimentali attualmente disponibili
Abstract
I danneggiamenti osservati durante i passati terremoti hanno messo in evidenza come gli elementi non-strutturali rappresentino una delle maggiori problematiche sia dal punto di vista delle perdite economiche che dell’immediata funzionalità delle strutture nell’emergenza post-sisma. Per tale motivo, gli elementi non-strutturali rappresentano negli ultimi anni un importante filone della ricerca nell’ambito dell’ingegneria sismica. Nell’ottica del performance-based design ed in particolare nella valutazione delle perdite attese, gli elementi non-strutturali rivestono un ruolo fondamentale. Nel presente lavoro si propone una panoramica delle attuali conoscenze sia dal punto di vista degli studi sperimentali focalizzati alla definizione della fragilità sismica degli elementi non-strutturali che della valutazione della domanda sismica, il tutto nell’ottica del performance-based design.
