L’Ottocento: Cultura, Letteratura e Storia is a journal aimed at promoting an international exchange among scholars of Italy’s long nineteenth century. One of its main objectives is to create an interdisciplinary space in which scholars from different geographical areas and various disciplines can meet and share innovative readings of this historical period. Sponsored by the Ottocentismi Network and the RRR research group, the journal is available in open access and published yearly. It accepts contributions in Italian, English and French, and relies on a group of experts from Italy and abroad for its double-blind peer review process. In addition to the publication of critical articles, the journal will offer reviews of books that were published in the previous months and that focus on less-known aspects, figures and events of the Ottocento.
