Abstract

This essay proposes an anthropology of ethical practice, reflecting on social transformations in Bolivia in light of human rights. It highlights the importance of a co-instantaneous view between values and ethical practices, transcending conceptual dichotomies. It invokes the influence of Habermas in theorizing the relationship between values and normativity. Finally, it underscores the role of ethnography in empirically analyzing this complex interaction, proposing a new analytical grammar to understand normativity.
