The reflections collected in this volume explore justice through anthropological, social, legal, and philosophical perspectives, with a focus on restorative justice and its cultural and political variations. A comparative approach reveals dynamics of injustice and claims, highlighting the intersection between legal systems and ideas of justice. Contemporary challenges of legal pluralism and customary law are examined, especially in the contexts of immigration and global movements for human rights. The volume aims to stimulate debate on the various forms of justice and injustice, emphasizing the importance of inter- and trans-disciplinary dialogue.
