Some current of design ask themselves about the possibilities to intervene in the processes of reactivation, reuse and actualization of artisan knowledge going settled in the territories. The project Design and pillow lace try to test the scope of the interdisciplinary model design and humanities, through the encounter with anthropology. This meeting proved capable of producing pathways valorisation dedicated to a specific expression of textile craftsmanship in Lombardy, through a series of steps from the collection of ethnographic documentation come to a practice of meta-design shared.
