HISTORY and SCOPE

The journal, sponsored and financed by the Italian Association of Germanic Philology (AIFG), has been running since 2009 and is published annually.

Each issue is devoted to a specific Germanic linguistic, literary and cultural topic. Articles are published in Italian or one of the major international languages and include an abstract in English.

The journal is published in print edition by the publisher Prometheus. Issues 1-15 of the journal and supplements 1-3 were published by the Prometheus publishing house, Milan. From 2024 the journal becomes Open Access and is published by Ledizioni. Subscriptions and print issues are available at www.ledizioni.it

PEER-REVIEW

The journal uses anonymous refereeing by Italian and foreign experts according to the double blind peer review procedure.

OPEN ACCESS

Publishes in Open Access, applying a CC-BY-SA licence, without requiring any contribution from authors

INDEXING

The journal is in ANVUR Class A for the whole Area 10 -Ancient, philological-literary and historical-artistic sciences.
