Perception, linguistic ideology and bilingual practices among hispanic families in Milan

The study analyzes the self-perception dynamics triggered by the use of Spanish as a minority language and by bilingual practices among Latinos in Milan. Some interviews with members of Latino communities in Italy will be used to investigate whether and to what extent linguistic transmission and identity construction processes are influenced by dominant linguistic ideologies.
