This paper analyzes the news regarding migratory movements published by the main newspapers of the Spanish speaking countries between the years 2013-2015. The corpus was established on the basis of Factiva® database. Our analysis shows how the information about migratory movements is shaped, focusing especially on the topics chosen in the newspapers (which are representative of each geographic area of Spanish Language) and on the linguistic choices that are part of these topics. The final purpose is to identify the images offered by the newspapers about the different migratory realities.
