Digital Theatre: new technologies in contemporary Spanish drama

The revolution that was brought about in Western society by the spread of the new technologies also affected drama production. The analysis of the most interesting projects in the present Spanish scene will help outline some features of the so-called digital theatre. This study, which could be placed in the Media Studies, will reflect on the idea of “theatre” in relation to the paradigm changes shaped by the new technologies in playwriting.
